Enabling the Save Password Feature

Make Sure to have your Windows 95 or 98 Setup CD Handy!
It may ask you for it in the last Step.



  1. Double Click on My Computer, then Double Click on Control Panel.
  2. Double Click the Network Icon.
  3. Click the Add Button.
  4. A list of Network components that you can install comes up. Choose Client, then Click Add.
  5. On the left side scroll down to Microsoft, and on the right side the Client for Microsoft Networks should appear. Select it and click OK.
  6. Now go to the Identification tab and type a name to identify the computer (whatever you want) and type Rural Network Services as your workgroup.
  7. Click OK.
  8. The system will prompt you to restart the machine. Click Yes.
