EUDORA - SEPERATE MAIL BOXES

This is for Eudora Pro or Eudora Light.
This is for separate Mail Boxes on the Desktop


  1. Double Click on My Computer.
  2. Double Click on C:\.
  3. Double Click on the Eudora Folder.
  4. Right Click on a White space in the Eudora page and do New and Click on Folder.
  5. Right Click on New Folder icon and go to Rename.
  6. Type in the Name of your new folder. Ex...newmail (no spaces)
  7. Right Click on your Desk Top and go to New then Shortcut.
  8. In the Command line Type: c:\eudora\eudora c:\eudora\new folder (Ex..c:\eudora\eudora c:\eudora\newmail). Click Next.
  9. Type in a Name for the short cut. Ex..Harry's Mail. Click Finish.
  10. Double Click on your New Eudora Mail Box "Harry's Mail". Go to Tools and then Options.
  11. Click on Getting Started icon.
    • Pop Account = username@mail.ruralnetwork.net
    • Real Name = Harry Smith
    • Return Address = username@ruralnetwork.net
  12. Click on Personal Info icon.
    • Dial up Username = your username.
  13. Click on Hosts icon.
    • SMTP = mail.ruralnetwork.net
    The other options are your own personal preference.
    You can set up as many seperate mailboxes as you have mail accounts. Just follow step by step the instructions.
