SETTING UP EUDORA PRO
- Double Click on Eudora on your Desktop.
- Click on Tools.
- Click on Options at the bottom of the list.
- Use the Scroll Bar on the Left and scroll up until you see Getting Started and Click on this Icon.
- On the right hand side type in:
- Real Name Box Your Name. ex...Harry Smith
- Return Address Box username@ruralnetwork.net. ex...harry@ruralnetwork.net Use lower case letters.
- Mail Server (Incoming) mail.ruralnetwork.net. Use lower case letters.
- Login Name username. ex...harry Use lower case letters.
- SMTP server (Outgoing): mail.ruralnetwork.net. Use lower case letters
- Check the Allow Authentication box.
- On the Left Hand side click the Checking Mail icon.
- Put a Check in the Save Password box.
- On the Left Hand side click on the Internet Dialup icon.
- On the Right Hand side put a Check in the Have Eudora connect Using Dialup Networking.
- On the Right Hand side make sure there is NO Check in the Hang up after Receiving and Sending box.
- On the Right Hand side put a Check in the Close connection on Exit box.
- Click OK on the bottom of the screen.
