HOW TO ADD MAILBOXES IN OUTLOOK EXPRESS 5.0


For Outlook Express 5.0 - 5.5

  1. Double Click on Outlook Express.
  2. Go to File.
  3. Go to Identities.
  4. Go to Add New Identity.
  5. Type in the Name of your account (You can either add a password or you don't have to).
  6. Do you want to switch to your new account now? YES.
  7. An Internet Connection Wizard will come up.
  8. Check Create a new Internet Mail Account. Click Next.
  9. Type in Your Name, ex..Harry Smith. Click Next.
  10. Check I already have an email address that I'd like to use. Put in your email address. username@ruralnetwork.net. Click Next.
  11. Leave POP3 as an incoming mail server.
    • For "Incoming Mail Server" type: mail.ruralnetwork.net.
    • For "Outgoing Mail Server" type: mail.ruralnetwork.net.
    • Click Next.
  12. Type in Your Account Name, ex..Harry. Type in Your Password. Click Next.
  13. Click Finish.

To check mail in different mail boxes, you will go to File and then Switch Identities. Highlight the identity that you want and hit ok. Then you would just click on Send/Receive to get your messages.
