HOW TO SETUP OUTLOOK EMAIL
For Most of the Outlook Programs
(ex..Outlook, Outlook 97, Outlook 98)
- Go to Tools.
- Go to Services.
- Go to Internet mail and Properties.
- In the General page Type in Your Full Name and Email address, ex..Harry Smith, hsmith@ruralnetwork.net.
- Go to the Mailbox Tab.
- "Internet Mail Server" is mail.ruralnetwork.net.
- "Account name" is: Your username (Make sure the username is in lower case). Type in your password, again, make sure it is in lower case.
- Click Advanced Options.
- For Outgoing mail type in mail.ruralnetwork.net.
- Go to the Connection Tab.
- Make sure Connect using a modem is Checked and that the Dialup connection is Rural Network Services.
