MAC OS 8.x-9.x Setup

1. Click on the Apple Menu and move down to Control Panels and click on TCP/IP.

2. Make sure that PPP is selected under Connect via.  Under Configure make sure Using PPP Server is selected.

3. In the Name server addr. box type in your local Domain Name Service (DNS) numbers.  Close the window and save the changes when prompted.

4. Click on the Apple Menu, go to Control Panels and click on Remote Access.

5. Make sure Registered User is selected.  Type in your username and password, put a check mark in the Save password box.  Type in your local dialup number and then click Options...

6. Click on the Protocol tab, make sure Connect automatically when starting TCP/IP applications, Allow error correction and compression in modem,  Use TCP header compression are all checked.  Click OK and save the changes.
