Home Tech Support Setting Up Mac OS Mac TCP/IP (Usually MAC OS 8.x)

 

MAC TCP/IP (USUALLY MAC OS 8.x)



  1. Click on the Apple Menu, then Click on Control Panels.
  2. Double Click on TCP/IP.
  3. In the drop down box labeled Connect via, Select PPP.
  4. In the drop down box labeled Configure, Select Using PPP Server.
  5. In the field labeled Name server address, type in 66.232.94.2, press Return, then type in 66.232.94.4
  6. In the field labeled Additional Search domains, type in ruralnetwork.net.
  7. All other fields should be left blank.
  8. Click Options.
  9. Put a Dot by Active.
  10. Make sure Load only when needed is Checked.
  11. Click OK.
  12. Exit TCP/IP.
  13. When prompted to save changes, Click Save.
  14. Close Control Panels.
