Installation Instructions for FProt Anti-Virus Program
Insert disc into CD-ROM drive.
Click on the 'Start' menu, select 'Run'.
Click 'Browse' button
Click on the "Look in" drop down box and select your CD-ROM drive. It will be labeled F-Prot.
Double click on 'fp-win_316f_s.exe'.
Click 'OK'. This will start the FProt installation process.
Click 'Setup'. Wait while F-Prot extracts the installation files.
Click 'Next' at the Welcome screen.
Read the license agreement, then click 'Yes' if you accept the terms.
Click 'Next' to set the Destination Folder.
Click 'Next' to select a typical installation.
Click 'Next' to select the Program Folder destination.
Click 'Next' to start the copying process.
Click 'Next' to tell FProt to run the Updater Program.
Enter your customer number, then check the box labeled 'Remember my customer number, then Click OK.
If you're connected to the Internet, F-Prot will update itself automatically. Otherwise, an error box will appear and you will have to click 'OK'.
Once the update is complete, click 'Finish' to restart your computer.
