Wireless Network Setup - MINIMUM Security

Open your Internet browser.
Go to this address: http://192.168.1.1
At the login prompt, enter the following information: User Name: Password: admin Click OK to continue.
Select the Administration tab at the top of the page.
Set Wireless Access Web to Disable.
Click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the page.
The "Settings are successful." message will appear. Wait a moment.
Select the Wireless tab at the top of the page.
Clear the Wireless Network Name (SSID) box, then enter a name for your network.
Set Wireless SSID Broadcast to Disable.
Click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the page.
When the "Settings are successful." message appears, click the Continue button.
Select the Wireless Security subsection at the top of the page.
Set Security Mode to a mode compatible with your wireless network card's chipset.
WPA is preferable to 128 bit WEP, which is in turn preferable to 64 bit WEP.
If you network card supports WPA, set it to WPA Personal.
Set WPA Algorithms to TKIP.
Set WPA Shared Key to a long, not easily guessed password.
If you network card supports WEP, set it to WEP.
Set WEP Encryption to either 128 or 40 bits, depending on which your card supports.
If you select 128, enter a 26 digit hexidecimal string in the Key 1 box.
If you select 64, enter a 10 digit hexidecimal string in the Key 1 box.
Click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the page.
When the "Settings are successful." message appears, click the Continue button.
