Wireless G USB Adapter - Network Setup

Insert the USB memory stick containing your encryption key into a free USB port on your computer.
Click on the Start button, go into Accessories, and open Notepad.



Click on the File menu, select Open.



In the "Look in" drop down menu, select your USB memory stick.



Select 'key.txt' and click Open.



Click on the Edit menu, select Select All.



Click on the Edit menu, select Copy.



Leave Notepad open.
Click on the Start button and go into the Control Panel.


Double click on Network Connections.


Locate the icon for the Zoom Wireless-G USB.


Right click on it, select Properties.


Click on the Wireless Networks tab.


Click Add.


Enter your network's name in the "Network name (SSID)" box.
Set Network Authentication to WPA2-PSK.
Set Data Encryption to AES.
Right click in the "Network key" box and paste in your encryption key.
Right click in the "Confirm network key" box and paste in your encryption key.
Click OK.


Click OK.


Wait a moment.
If your computer is within rage of your wireless router it should automatically connect to it.
Once its status is listed as Connected, double click on it.


Verify that your computer has connected to the appropriate network.
If it has connected to someone else's wireless network, you can click on the View Wireless Networks button to select which wireless network you wish to join. Otherwise, click Close.

Exit Network Connections.
Double click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray. (It's the green arrow.)


Select the USB Mass Storage Device corresponding to your USB memory stick, then click Stop.


Select USB Mass Storage Device, then click OK.


Click Close.

Remove your USB memory stick.
