This may be necessary if you are attempting to use your router in proximity to other equipment operating in the 2.4GHz band.
Examples of possible interference sources are cordless phones, microwave ovens, and other wireless networking equipment.
If you encounter sporadic wireless connection difficulties you may wish to experiment with the different channels available to you.
Open your Internet browser.
Go to this address: http://10.0.0.2
(Or the current address of your router if you changed it.)
At the login prompt, enter the following information:
User Name: admin
Password: zoomadsl
(Or the current login information if you changed it.)
Click OK to continue.
Select the Wireless tab at the top of the page.
Select a different wireless channel.
The default for the Zoom Model 5590 is channel 10.
Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
Click the Write Settings to Flash button at the bottom of the page.
Exit your Internet browser.
Turn your router off.
Wait ten seconds.
Turn your router on.
