Open your Internet browser.


Go to this address: http://10.0.0.2


At the login prompt, enter the following information:
User Name: admin
Password: zoomadsl
Click OK to continue.


Select the Advanced Setup tab at the top of the page.


Click the Admin Password button.


Enter zoomadsl in the Old Password box.
Enter a new password in the New Password box.
Confirm it in the Confirm Password box.


Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.


The "Password Change Successful!" message will appear. Click OK.


At the login prompt, enter your new password.
Click OK to continue.


Click the Write Settings to Flash button at the bottom of the page.


Select the Advanced Setup tab at the top of the page.


Click the Management Control button.


Uncheck TELNET, SNMP, and TFTP.


Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.


Click the Write Settings to Flash button at the bottom of the page.


Select the Advanced Setup tab at the top of the page.


Click the LAN Configuration button.


Change the IP Address to another private IP address.


The "You have changed your LAN IP address." message will appear. Click OK.


Change the Start IP address to a different number higher than the last octet in the IP Address.
Set the End IP address to a number higher than the Start IP address, the difference should be one less than
the number of computers that will be sharing your Internet connection.


Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.


Exit your Internet browser.
Click on the Start button and go into the Control Panel.


Double click on Network Connections.


Locate the icon for network card that you have connected to the Linksys router.


Right click on it, select Disable.


After a moment the card's icon will turn grey and its status will change to Disabled.


Right click on it again, select Enable.


Wait until its status is listed as Connected to proceed.


Open your Internet browser.


Go to this address: https://www.grc.com/passwords.htm


Highlight, right click on, and copy the text in the middle section.
This will be your wireless network's encryption key.


Leave your Internet browser open.
Insert a USB memory stick into a free USB port on your computer.
Click on the Start button, go into Accessories, and open Notepad.


Click on the Edit menu, select Paste.


Click on the File menu, select Save.


In the "Save in" drop down menu, select your USB memory stick.


Type 'key.txt' in the "File name" box, then click Save.


Exit out of Notepad.
Double click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray. (It's the green arrow.)


Select the USB Mass Storage Device corresponding to your USB memory stick, then click Stop.


Select USB Mass Storage Device, then click OK.


Click Close.
Remove your USB memory stick.


You should now be back to your Internet browser.
Go to this address: http://10.0.42.85


At the login prompt, enter your new password.
Click OK to continue.


Click the Write Settings to Flash button at the bottom of the page.


Select the Wireless tab at the top of the page.


Set Encryption to WPA2.
Right click on the WPA Passphrase box and paste in your encryption key.
Clear SSID box, then enter a name for your network.
Set Hide SSID to true.


Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.


Click the Write Settings to Flash button at the bottom of the page.


Click on the Wireless MAC Filtering link towards the bottom of the page.


Set MAC Address Auth to Whitelist.


Look at your Zoom 4410A Wireless-G USB network card.
Note the MAC address printed on its side.


Enter your wireless network card's MAC address and then click Add.


Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.


Click the Write Settings to Flash button at the bottom of the page.


Exit your Internet browser.
